I am inspired by life, and each photograph reflects this inspiration. Black and white is my love. Images captured in that light are reminiscent of a line in Pablo Neruda's Sonnet XVII "...I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul." The heart of me is my spirit, and it connects to images of Buddha; it is there, in the dim glow of meditation, that I have found freedom. I am inspired by the journey of humanity--to arrive in complete expansion and self realization. These images are but reflections of this self--earth, water, fire, air.
There is a space existing within life that resembles the soul of the infinite. How vast that space. How beautifully freeing to know such warmth and compassion. We breathe, and our exhale dances with God.

Candid pictures are my favorite. They capture the very essence of the subject, their emotion, their truth. To me, candid pictures reveal the true art of photography, the raw, which is a delight of mine. From people, to animals, to the quiet of a flower, the energy of life shows its face. May I look always into the eyes of it.
The true beauty of life is that it is vast; it happens all around us, from the motion of action to the stillness of quiet. Life. The practice is awareness of life, how we might be mindful of the breath of others, the breath of ourselves. There is stillness in motion...
